Description
This is a remote residency which allows the Residents to work on the residency on their own schedule and work around existing work commitments.
This IBM residency will result in a Redbook dedicated to designing autonomous and sustainable IT infrastructures using IBM Power11. Key focus areas include eliminating planned maintenance downtime, advancing automation, and enhancing energy efficiency—critical elements for modern data centers.
The publication will showcase IBM Power11’s capabilities, explore foundational design principles, and present strategic approaches to achieving zero downtime, streamlining support data collection, and optimizing power usage. Through real-world case studies, illustrative examples, and detailed diagrams, the Redbook will clarify complex concepts and highlight IBM Power11’s practical applications.
Additionally, it will address topics such as security, compliance, monitoring, and reporting—underscoring integration with IBM’s broader toolset. Ultimately, this project aims to demonstrate how IBM Power11 can empower organizations to build resilient, energy-conscious, and highly automated IT environments.
